  Andy "Grandpa" Nelson, 83, died Saturday, March 7, 1998.Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd.Mr. Nelson was born in Bonham and had been an Amarillo resident for 57 years. He had been employed as a salesman for Palo Duro Ice Co., and Amarillo Independent School District. He retired from Kmart after 10 years of service.He married Hazel Ashcraft in 1938 at Montgomery County, Ark. She died in 1987.Survivors include a son, H.L. Nelson Sr. of Fort Worth; a stepson, Marion Ashcraft of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Vicki Miller of Amarillo; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous stepgrandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren.
