Arthur Meador Reynolds
(6/29/1843 - 7/6/1930)

Joined the confederate aremy on 4/30/61 at Corinth, MS under Capt. James Leeth, 2nd Regt. Miss. Co. A. He was mustered into service 5/10/61 under Major Clay. In 1863 he transferred to the 28th Miss Regt. Co. D to serve under his uncle A.E. Reynolds.

Fought in Vicksburg, Shiloh Manasses and was wounded in Battle of Gettisburg. On the muster roll for July & August, 1863 and shown to have been left with the enemy at Gettisburg, PA. In Sept, 1863 he was an exchange prisoner. His name is on the memorial at Vicksburg.
