Thank you for visiting our pages. Why not take a few minutes to enjoy our music and reflect on this great family of ours. While you are here we would love it if you would Add to this guestbook we are keeping!

Due to the large number of entries in our Guest Book, I have broken the entries up by years.  In 2004 I started receiving so much spam that I was forced to de-activate the Guest Book, therefore there is no entries for 2005 or 2006.  I have started the Guest Book back up in 2007 by manually editing and adding the entries.

My name is John Fredrick Reynolds a descendent of James Reynolds his son, Rev. James Reynolds born 1771 died 1837. His wife Hester (Nash) Reynolds born 1777 died 1842, his son William Harrison Reynolds(died in Burdett 1894) and their son Major James Reynolds who was in the battle of Gettysburg and lived in California after the war. Major James Reynolds lived in California for 30 years before returning to Hector N.Y. to visit the house, in 1908, that his dad built (Rev. James Reynolds). Rev James Reynolds moved from Kortright, Delaware County N.Y. about 1798 the land bounded by Seneca Lake on the west. Francoln Hill Reynolds Dad was Samuel Reynolds his mom was Emma Malona Graham, Born Dec. 18 1836 Died Sept 26, 1915. My Dads mom and dad were Francoln Hill Reynolds and Mary Ingols Reynolds My dad was John Hill Reynolds born August 25 1910 died Jan. 7 1974 , My mom Elaine Chase Reynolds born October 22, 1910 died August 12, 1984. Major James Reynolds had written on the back of an old letter the following names: Johnson Nash Reynolds: born Kourtright, Delaware counity N.Y., Died Poultney N.Y. James Reynolds: born Peach orchard N.Y., Died Pottsville PA Nelson Reynolds Died Oshkosh Wis. Peter Hager Reynolds George W Reynolds: Born Peach Orchard, Died Burdett N.Y. , Died at 51 years March 31 1851, Wimniam Harrison Reynolds Died at 80 years old June 31 1894 Hannah Saylor Reynolds Phoebe Jaquish Reynolds Pamelia Story Reynolds Adeline Tunison Reynolds Louisa Skeel (1) Hunter (2) Reynolds Hester Crane Reynolds (I don’t know if these are family or a miscellaneous group) I also have a picture of the wife of Samuel Reynolds (Emma Malona Graham Reynolds). She told of her great grandmother (Catherine Cook McCullum) experience in the Cherry Valley Massacre of November 11, 1778. Catherine was 15 years old. In notes that have been passed down to me, Major Reynolds had lots of family history in his California home, If only some one was interested enough to keep them I would like to find what is left of them. I have a transcript of notes that Major James Reynolds wrote that Albert G. Ingalls, decendent of Rev. James Reynolds, transcribed in 1948.

I am trying to find out about my great grandfather, who's name I don't know. He lived in Augusta, Georgia during the 1890's. Had a son named Frederick Joseph Archie Reynolds and a daughter named Rose Estelle Reynolds. My ggrandfather married a woman who's first name was Bessie. Please if anyone has any information on my family I would deeply appreciate it. My mother says she knows that her grandfather had a brother who lived in Chicago in the 1930's or 40's but doesn't know his name. Frederick was born in 1896, May 26th his sister was born approximately a year or two after him. My ggrandfather died shortly after Rose was born. Bessie and children moved to Pennsylvania and she remarried and became Bessie Rowe. If anyone has any information regarding my family, please e-mail me at Dickersl@yahoo.com. Thanks so much!!!

Recently we found some letters that my Great Aunt had received from her cousin in Woonsocket Rhode Island dated 1908 to 1943. These are great letters between girl cousins that have not met. A young girl named Bridgie V Reynolds at the age of 14 years, lived at 56 Earle Street Woonsocket and attended "St Charles Church which was just across the road" and she also attended the school of the same name. Bridgie had a sister Mary Ellen aged 22years and a brother Peter Bernard aged 19 years. The parents are Mr & Mrs Peter Reynolds and they also lived at 140 Earle Street Woonsocket. I believe that Mrs Reynolds was my Great Grandmothers sister and that my G-G's maiden name was Rosina Stapleton nee Bolend. I'm interested to see if there are any mention of the family in the church records or if by chance there may be some relatives remaining in the area. I believe I posted an entry here some time ago but never did get a response. I am the eldest child of Lola Lucille Reynolds and Grover Raymond Bates, married 8 Nov 1940 in Tavares, Fl. Lola is the oldest, of nine, child of John Thomas Reynolds and Mamie Irene Brannon, married 30 Jun 1918 in Florala, Al. John's parents were George Reynolds and Annie Victoria "Vicky" Carter, married 13 May 1888 in Montgomery, Al. Mamie's parents were George Brannon and Oceola Weeks. Lola was born 21 Mar 1921 in Dothan, Al. John Thomas Reynolds was born 13 May 1894 in Alabama. George Reynolds was born about 1855 but place unknown. I am hoping that SOMEONE has some information on the ancestors of this family as this is all the information I have at present and it is all from family members memories and recollections. This is a very good site even if no one has ever heard of my relatives.

Came across this site and thought I would see what would happen. My REYNOLDS family is joined to the BERKLEY family of Kentucky. We have very little or no information on either family. My grandfather who passed away in 1984 didn't have much information in his personal papers, so I am trying to gather information about his extended family for my children and my brothers' children. My grandpa's name was George Dotson Berkley b. 21 Nov. 1919 in Grayson County, Kentucky. He came to Utah and met my grandma, Wanda Mary Sharp. They had only two children, George Jr. and Jenean. Jenean married Donald Crook and they had me and 3 boys. George Jr. married Linda Foxley and they had 2 children. I do know that Grandpa's mother passed away when he was fairly young, her name was Frances Josephine Wilson; his father's name was Alexander Franklin Berkley. I believe that Alexander went by Frank Berkley; I am not too sure though. If anyone has any information about my Reynolds connection I would love to hear from you. Jesse Nelson Berkley married to Eliza Ann Reynolds daughter of James Burt Reynolds and Eliza Ann Lawrence.

Hi, my name is Maria Michelle. I was born to a 14 year old mother and my name at birth was Maria Michelle Reynolds. I was with my mother and various family members for the first two years of my life. Then, I was placed into a foster home. My grandmother was killed in a domestic crisis soon after I was born. I do not know her name, but she was killes in June, 1974. If you have any info, please email me. I would love to meet anyone from my biological family. I know that a great Aunt took care of me alot. My mom supposedly got married on 2-14-75. She had another girl that was also placed for adoption. I believe that baby was born in April, 1976. My brithdate was 2-27-74. If anyone in my biological family reads this, I love you! Michelle

My Mother is Helen Reynolds Bolton, eldest child of ALICE ANNA REYNOLDS(nee' HORN), and LLOYD HIRAM REYNOLDS of Sapulpa Oklahoma, home of hundreds of members of the Reynolds family. My Grandfather is the Son Of OSCAR REESE REYNOLDS, and ROSA DELLA REYNOLD (nee WHITELY) whose Sons are/were: LlOYD HIRAM REYNOLDS, ROY VIRL REYNOLDS(deceased), MARLIN REYNOLDS, DELBERT REYNOLDS, LESTER RAYMOND REYNOLDS, ELBERT REYNOLDS (deceased) and one Daughter, my Great Aunt RACHEL VALERIE MORGAN (nee REYNOLDS) It is wonderful to see how vast our family is, how grand our numbers are. I hope someday to find the funds to trace the family tree of my Grandfather's branch of the Reynolds clan. In the meantime, it is wonderful to be able to come here and read some of the messages of the Reynolds that have made their way here. My Grandfather's Children are/were; Helen Bolton (nee Reynolds), Jesse Elmer Reynolds, Utah Carl Reynolds, Douglas Dewayne Reynolds (deceased), Olive Dean Reynolds, Roger Dale Reynolds, Lloyd Dillard Reynolds(deceased) and last but certainly not least, my Favorite Aunt, Mildred Rachel (AKA PEEWEE) Hall (nee Reynolds). I would go into the Grand Children and Great Grandchildren of my Beloved Grandparents, whom God has called home now, but their progeny is too vast for me to name here, with over thirty Grandchildren, and scores of Great Grandchildren. My Grandfather, though of humble means, and only a grade school education, was very well respected in the town of Sapulpa Oklahoma. He worked tirelessly to feed and clothe his 8 children, and often worked two or three jobs at a time to support them, wanting nothing more from his community, than the chance to work, to feed his family. He was a good christian as well, and could quote any passage from the Bible that you asked of him, and knew exactly where every verse was. Sorry if I am long winded, but I am a proud member of the Reynolds family, and My Beloved Grandfather, if typical of the Reynolds family, shows how proud a family we must have. Though poor, my Grandfather always held his head up, no matter where he went, and was respected in the town by even the wealthiest families of Sapulpa, and nearby Tulsa, as well as any other town that is close to Sapulpa. May God bless each and every one of you, and may the Reynolds clan continue to grow and proper until time is but a memory in the eyes of God. If anybody knows any history of this part of the Reynolds family, please feel free to E-mail me, at flyeagle@airmail.net

My home state is Florida but have spent very little time there since joining the Coast Guard in 1959. I am trying to find my mother's ancestors and have very little to go on. Her father was John Thomas Reynolds; b: 13 May 1894 Alabama; d: 30 Aug 1976 Avon Park, Fl.; son of George Reynolds and Annie Victoria Carter. We believe he was from the Abbeville-Dothan area of Alabama as I remember meeting my Great Grandfather Reynolds about 1954 when I was 13. There were other relatives there but only remember a Great Uncle whom my brother talked with and from the change in his pocket extracted a 1909 vdb s lincoln penny and gave it to Jimmy for his coin collection. John lived in the Altoona-Umatilla-Eustis area of Florida for a short time which is where my father met them, the Bates part of the family was in Altoona, Fl. My mother and father eloped and were married by a JP in Tavares, Fl. on 8 Nov 1940. We all eventually settled in Avon Park, Fl about 1949/50. If anyone has any info would appreciate either here or preverably by email since I have put so may queries up it is hard to keep track of what is where. Regards and che-ers

Hi! My Mother, Eloise Reynolds Knight Delzer, has been interested in tracing our families origins, since her Father,James Ellis Reynolds, and his brother, Joe Reynolds, began their search for our "roots" 30 years ago... It really wasn't until my Great Uncle Joe passed away that she really got "into it" to help my GrandFather. She has visited the Isle of Wight, Va., and has managed to trace our family to Christopher Reynoldsb.1530, she has also found an interesting name in her search that lets us know which family line to study(Abasha). Anyway, My Mother wants to know where to obtain information on the land granted to her family in Isle of Wight and perhaps gain a copy of the title. She has scads of documentation on passage to the colonies and various fascinating documentations of Civil War relatives etc... signed pieces of articles in beautiful handwritings from many generations ago... She asked me to help her with this and I stumbled onto this place... I was blown away!!! If there is anyone out there(and there seems to be literally thousands!!!)who can shed further light on our line of "Reynolds" please feel free to e-mail!! I would be delighted to hear from you!Have a glorious day and keep searching!!!

Trying to establish whether they are the parents of Harvey Tipton Reynolds who married Lovinia Sawyer. Thanks again Vern

Meador m bef 1705 Susanna Reynolds dau Cornelius, who d bef that date. Proven by deed of tht date Essex Co. He was son of John and Elizabeth White. She widow of John Goss.

They had the following children:

1. John MEADOR was born in 1700/1706.

THOMAS MEADOR, the son of Elizabeth (White) and John Meadors seems to have been the first of the sons to die. He married Susanna, daughter of Cornelius Reynolds. She was the widow of John Goss at the time she married Thomas Meador, all of which is proven by the following records: Cornelius Reynolds made his will Sept. 29, 1684, probated Sept 29, 1684 [my note....on the same day???], as follows: Wife Marjorie executrix, to have all movables; seat of land where I live to be divided equally between sons William and John Reynolds, William to have his choice to grandson John Goss, first mare in foal (Sweeney-120).

In 1705, Susanna Meadors, wife of Thomas Meadors and daugther of Cornelius Reynolds, also James and Sarah Reynolds, sold 300 acres given by Cornelius Reynolds in his will of 1683 [my note: was it 1683 or 1684, as Boddie previously stated?]. (Fleet 12, Essex BK 1703-06, pp. 76-77).

John Goss (grandson of Cornelius Reynolds) made his will June 11, 1705. He gave "all lands to his sister Sarah Coghill" all personal property to my mother Susanna Meador. My Reynolds family is mostly from the OK & TN areas, as far back as early 1800's, and are of Cherokee descent. The other spellings are Runnels & Runels. My grandfather was Miles Hudson Reynolds from OK, his father William A. Reynolds also from OK. His father Anderson Reynolds/Runnels from OK and TN. Anderson had another son John from a previous marriage. If anyone has info, I would appreciate it if you share. :-) Laura K. Reynolds-Johnson

I am new at this so bear with me. Not sure just what to say. I am trying to find the "history" of my father. His name as was old to us was Clarence Carl Reynolds also called "Otto". He told my mother he came from Knoxville , Tn. His birth year 1878. That was on my birth certificate. He met my mother in Los Angeles, Ca. and was married having 5 children I was the youngest. What happened to him I don't know. But he was a classical Violinist was told he had a recital at the White HOus before he met my mother. Also was in a Symphony Orchestra- where?? All I know is he broke his right arm and unable to perform. My mother said he could make his violin "sing". One time in Los Angeles on the streetcar my mother and he were sitting and a black man got on the car and saw Papa and was happy to see him and said "Otto, where have you been your family are worried about you" My father got up and went to the back of the trolley and sat and talked with the man - he never told my mother what was said. Nothing. Eventually my MOther left him and moved to northern Calif. changed our names and gave us new first names. She married again and I tried so hard to find out something about him and seemed to end at a blank wall. Is there anyone --that possibly knew my father in Knoxville Tn. I don't know any other members of his family My mother had a "tintype" of him and a cousin but never knew their names. Please help me try to find something about my father. All I know is around 4 or 5 yrs. of age I went to live with a family named Casavant and eventually went back to my mother. I do want thank Joe for how I found your site I'll never know - I just tho't I'd start playing around on the internet and "lo and behold" there was your title and I read one long list and now I will read the latest list. Thank you and I pray someone will know something about Papa.

Great site, so many great Reynolds. I'm searching for my biological father Kelvin who would have been born around 1948 in the UK. He lived in St.Albans area in the mid 60s and is claimed to have been a bus driver and a boxer. One of his parents was German and the other British and he had a brother with the last name Wise (bit of a mystery there!). He was from the Abbotts Langley area and went to trade school in Watford. Not much else to go on really but would love to find him and catch up on Reynolds history plus a chance to get in some good fish and chips! Best Regards Dean Washington DC-ish

My line of the Reynolds comes from Ireland. My Grandfather Thomas Patrick Reynolds came to the UK to fight with our forces during the Second World War. Upon this return to the UK he met my Grandmother Marjorie Gardener and they married, living in the small Lancashire village of Halton-on-Lune. They had 4 children Michael, Maureen, Monica (my mother) and finally Margaret, yes all M's!! My Grandfather died in October 1987 and my Grandmother in 1992. Michael has 4 daughters, Maureen 1 daughter, Monica 1 son (me!) and Margaret 2 daughters. Monica still lives in the family home and Michael lives in the village. We would love to hear from any other Reynolds' who belive we might be related.

My search is for John Reynolds who's parents were Charles James and Mary Hale Reynolds. John also had a borther William , a sister Floria and another sister. James was first married to Alice Bold who bore six children . They were Alice, Maggie, Robert, Jesse( WWI vet) , Alfred and Agnes. Agnes lived 30+ years at 69 Park Road Wigan, England. Agnes is also my Great grandmother. Her daughter Edna Alice Howard was my grandmother who was b. 4/4/22 in Wigan England. Edna and John Reynolds though being related with Edna's mother being John's half sister, fell in love in 1942 with the birth of my mother June Corless 1/12/43. Also during this breif affair John was stationed at Codswold, England Moreton in the Marsh with the RAF. My grandmother was still shedding tears for John in the 1970's.After the pregancy was exposed Agnes and John have a severe argument over Edna's pregancy and John leaves. Edna then marries John Corless. The last information about John was around the 1960's he had came to England to do business and that he still lived in Chile. He had also worked for the Braden Copper Co. in Sewell at one time because of the picture we have of him. If any one knows anything of the Reynold who went to Chile PLEASE let us know!

Thanks to Joe Reynolds and all those who've contributed to this effort. I've spent the past ten years or so searching and sending out mail only to have it returned as undeliverable, in my effort to locate information such as is contained here. Recently a friend who has a computer found this site while creating his own Geneology site and referred me to it. I've posted querries and comments here thanks so much for this forum. I'm listed here in the Surname Index under the surnames, Reynolds,(Sherry Lynn Reynolds, Spouses of), and McMurray, (John Raymond McMurray, Father of). I've finally found the links that will hopefully open the communications channels I seek... Thanks again so very much. Sincerely, Jerry Dean McMurray, (E-Mail responses to: lakeboy52@hotmail.com) P.S. Happy Birthday John, and in advance for April 24, Happy Birthday Sherry. I hope all is well...

I just started looking and I have gone back so far as my Gr Gr Grandfather Joseph Reynolds from South Dakota. He sired 4-6 children Bessie, Jessie, another daughter, a son that died from a horse accident, and Arthur Kyle who married Cora Knickerbocker, they were my Gr Grandfather and Grandmother. They had two sons Charles and Kyle Knickerbocker. Kyle my Grandfather married Frances Deictrich and they had 4 boys Arthur, Pete, Charles, and Joseph (my father). There are 9 from my generation and so far we have had 10 children in all to keep the namesake going. Some where before my Grandparents we came to Oregon and I think that was around 1895 or so the house there now was built in 1913. We have had our land about that long and it has always been in our name. I also know that we are of the Scottish Reynolds and supposedly it was MacReynolds at one time. If you have any pertinent information I would appreciate it.

Greetings, My research into the Reynolds family line , originates in Somerset England. I've loated ancestors back to 1612 in the villages of Somersetjust south-west of Glastonbury. At this point my research brings me to the U.S where an ancestors family migrated in the 1880's. As far as we have discovered this family group included adults and possible several small children . Names for the adults are Samuel Ernest and wife , Sidney and wife plus their respective children. Both Samuel and Sidney are brothers there parents names are Samuel and Ann Reynolds nee York . At the time of the brothers migration they may have been know by their mothers maiden name of YORK . This family settled possibly in California( although this isn't confirmed) Some time in the first few years of their settlement which was on a,property connected with fruit growing. At least two of their children died in a barn fire. This news was the last received by the Reynolds family back in Somerset . Since then nothing has been heard from the family or their descendants. If any of this story bears any similarity to anyones oral family history . I'd be very pleased to hear from you. Best Regards Margaret

My Reynolds interest starts with my gt. gt. grandfather Thomas Reynolds who married Annie Stephens in London in 1816 and then emigrated to Australia. Their son John Napoleon Reynolds married an Annie (also known as Amelia) Morrison in Melbourne and they had about 13 children. Some of their names were John Napoleon junior, Alice, Ada, Frank, James, Emily and Harry Charles (my grandfather). One of Harry's sons - Geoffrey was my father. There must be some of my distant cousins out there somewhere, either still in Oz or perhaps like their ancestors, moved back to England. Anybody out there - please, please contact !!
