Hi! I'm looking for anyone knowing information on Oscar Reese Reynolds, b. January 7, 1886 d. January 10, 1958. He married Della Rosa Whiteley(b. February 13, 1890 d. October 4, 1968)in January of 1909. He had a brother named Jim Reynolds and a 1/2 sister named Alice-it is believed. Both boys supposedly went to the Eufaula Boys Home when they were young. Apparently, files burnt when they had a fire. They were later sent to Sapulpa Boys Home. Oscar was supposedly raised by Chief Sapulpa or his son. Jim Reynolds is believed to have lived in Rolla, Missouri. My dad's(Delbert Olive Reynolds)birth certificate shows Oscar Reynolds born in Missouri. We believe Charley Reynolds was his father and Mary Higginbotham was his mother. Oscar Reynolds is my grandfather and Jim Reynolds is my great uncle. This is about all the information that I have on hand. If you have any information you can share, please contact me! I'd love to hear from you!

What an excellent job you have done! I found some really new information on my gggf, Carl Clemmons Davis. Your Lecy Belle Davis Brown would have been my ggaunt. Though I never met her, I did talk with her daughter, Lura E. Brown (b5-15-1903) who mar Willie Walker (10-3-1897/10-18-1964). This was in the 1970s. Both Lecy Belle and Gus are buried at Concord Cem along with many of my Davis ancestors. It it will help, please note the following information, taken from headstones at Concord and Morris Cty Censur Records: Carl Clemmons Davis-Lecy Belle's f-(b12-25-1823 S.C. -d7-26-1901. 1m Mary J. ________ and had children Lucy Ann - mgggm - (1861-1838) who mar James W. McGinnis(1856 Ga.-1915 Durant, Okla) at Corcord Church by Elder S. M. Price; son Dixie (1864-1914), 1m Cynthia Ann Cason and 2m Vina Alice Patrick 8-19-1903 in Morris Cty. Carl then mar Annie T. Cason and their children were: James Clemmons (1872-1944), named after his uncle, a brother to Carl, who mar M. B. willis 12020-1876 in Morris Cty; William Matt(hew?) (1878-1929)who mar Viola Mae Bennett. One significant mystery which somone may be able to solve is: in the same grave plot with Carl Clemmons and many of his family members is the headstone of Mealy C. Mills (b3-10-1835 d3-24-1894). There are no apparent children or a spouse. Does the C stand for Cason? Was this another Davis? For some unknown reason (census, Lura Brown)I think this is a female b in S. C. Well, I enjoyed it and hope some of this info is helpful.

What a wonderful site.Hi to all members of the Reynolds family .I am trying to trace William Reynolds born in Lanlivery Cornwall about 1866 his father was a John Cullis Reynolds who married a Mary Bennets in Lanlivery.William Reynolds married Anne Scobie Scott in Blantyre Lanarkshire Scotland in 1899 they had two children William Scott Reynolds (my Grandfather) and Beatrice.Anne Reynolds re married in 1915 on the marriage records she was described as a widow so my great grandfather must have died between 1906 when Beatrice was born and 1915. My Grandfather died not knowing how or where his father died so I have taken up the cause. any imformation would be helpful. Also I have a lot of research on the Reynolds family in the Lanlivery,Paul, and Penzance areas of Cornwall I would be happy to share.Keep up the good work Joe.

He was born 05/03/1927 to Eunice Rose Overton Reynolds (born in 1904) and Wilson Enoch Reynolds(born around 1892). Dad was born in Venson,Ok and married my mother, Shirley Ann Kester,on 08/30/1959 in Duke,Ok. I'm not sure were our line of Reynolds' originated, but if any one has any information it would be greatly appreciated. My father passed away 07/08/99 and I would like to find out my family heritage. Thanks again for a great site.

Thank you, Joe, and everyone else who has taken the time to make notes on your site. I have information on my blood line starting with Robert Reynolds of Bergoit, England ca. 1505. My ancestry is through his son Christopher ca. 1530. Then I have one blood line group only through his son George ca. 1555 and a lot on MY direct blood line via his brother Richard ca. 1575. If you have information about this portion of the Reynolds clan or if you can connect up with the people I've listed, I'd love to swap info.

I have been aware of my Reynolds for some time, but just this evening, I finally understood how it links to the Mayflower. My ggg-grandmother was Sarah (Sally) Reynolds Streeter, wife of Benjamin B. Streeter of Fort Covington, NY. Her father and grandfather were both named Grindal Reynolds. Grindal Jr. was a Lt./Capt. during the Revolutionary War and is buried in Grand Isle Co., VT. His father was a minister, Reverand Grindal Reynolds of RI who married Sarah Searle, a Mayflower Descendant. Tonight was also the first time that ever encountered the Reynolds Family Association pages. Needless to say, I am excited!
